Robert Acobe – Director of Community Outreach

Robert “Bob” Acobe serves as the Director of Community Outreach at EMBHC, leveraging
decades of experience in advocacy and recovery-focused work to build critical bridges between the organization
and the communities of northeastern Pennsylvania. Before joining the team, Bob turned his own life around and
later earned credentials as a Drug & Alcohol Counselor, demonstrating firsthand insight into the challenges
individuals face. At Just Believe Recovery, he served as Outreach Coordinator, working with local businesses,
schools, and nonprofits to combat the stigma of overdose and expand access to support services. Bob is known
for his compassionate advocacy, tireless public engagement, and ability to mobilize community resources. In his
role at EMBHC, he continues this mission by organizing educational outreach, forging strategic partnerships,
and ensuring that people in need know where to find hope and help.
